Some of his KO's were just ridiculous. It was always amazing to see the punch connect and Julian would just point to signal KO right away.

He's definitely in the running.. I think he would've carried his power as high as light heavyweight perhaps.

    True P4P punching power.

Well the thread title reads hardest hitting non-heavyweight, which I take as referring to the hardest punching fighter who isnt a heavyweight....not in a the p4p sense but in a literal sense.

I doubt Wilde would be this man...I dont think Hearns would either...probably not even Jackson.

A bit tricky because some guys considered themselves heavyweights (which they were in their time) but if they were to fight today they wouldnt be.

If you werent to include those guys I think names like Ezra Sellers, Spinks at light heavy, Foster at light heavy, Hide, Satterfield, etc pop up. Thats just off the top of me noggin.

Pure biggest puncher outside of the HW division and not P4P? NO, Foster would be when he was at 175

A three-way tie between Jackson, Ayala and Benn. Hearns a close second.

That pointing to the canvas Jackson would do when he dropped his opponent was ******ed.

There are Scotsmen who say Benny Lynch had better one punch power, and that Wilde got men out of there with clusters of heavy blows.Be that as it may Wilde kod men several weight classes above him,so he must be in the running p4p.
