P4p hearns. Overall, foster, spinks, haye or any of the cruiser bangers.
If going soley on poundage under 200 pounds (modern heavy.) then louis, marciano and dempsey should be there.....

Hearns and Foster are in the running. Hearns quality of opponents certainly surpasses the other two.

I would say yes, although Danny Lopez might be considered. Jackson had so many show-stopping, picturesque ko's however, that he gets my vote.

I forgot about Bob Foster. I guess it's a tie then.

Cuevas breaks bones. Zarate, Olivares, Saddler, & Hearns all had crunching power.

Most of the divisions below hvy have had a big puncher...one that might not have been even champion.

Wifredo Gomez at Jr. Feather.....Florentino Fernandez MW from the 50's / 60's.
    Rodrigo Valdez, even Tony Zale.....

And of course Bob Fitzsimmons had 51 ko's in his 60 wins and was never much more than a supermiddleweight.

There's a well known sparring story where Eugene Hart sparked Tim Witherspoon out in sparring. :good

Hagler also pegged him as the hardest hitter he ever faced so that eliminates another murderous puncher at 154 in Mugabi, and Hearn's himself who fought all the way up to cruiser.

A lot of fans no nothing about Lausse.

I saw him on several DVD's and was very impressed with his power.
