:rofl :good great post strike. cant believe i missed this thread. another of these old school is the best school, because i 'heard' this from so and so, because i 'read' this from this and that. what evidence do we have of walcotts power? it's based on conjecture and hearsay. until a video surfices of of this guy, i'm not buying it. samething goes for fools who pick dempsey, jeffries, jack johnson et al. over tyson. for the record julian jackson had the purest one punch KO power i've seen.
What about Wifredo Gomez and Naseem Hamed....surely the two hardest hitting junior featherweights ever. I saw jr feather b/c thats the division Hamed shouldve been at if a title shot didnt arise at feather. His power was out of this world
It's a toss up between Julian Jackson and Bob Foster, but Danny Lopez can be added to the mix as well.
As far as one punch ko power, Julian is the strongest puncher I have ever seen. I've never seen a fighter get as many clear ko's with so few punches. I'm surprised nobody said Shavers
Actually, the three that I mentioned, Foster, Jackson and Lopez are to me, even better 1 shot specialists than Shavers in that their punches are faster and crisper and almost as heavy as Shavers' punches.
