Zhang and Parker signed a rematch clause. That's due next, I'm fairly certain.

Nobody is talking about that, so where did you hear this?

    Basically everywhere.

Type Zhang Parker Rematch Clause in your search engine.

Zhang activated his rematch clause and the Saudis want to stage it at the end of the year.

Since the rematch wouldn't happen until then, Zhang took a gamble and fought Wilder first. Parker didn't take any fights in between.

I never read or heard that anything has changed.

I might have been dreaming but i saw a poster on this forum where Parker vs Kabayel was being suggested for the undercard of Bivol Beterbiev.

Maybe you did. Like I said. I hadn't heard anything changed. Usually when there's a signed rematch clause, you can pretty much take it to court and win.

Zhang certainly wants to avenge that loss. He had Parker down twice. It's a very winnable rematch for him.

Very good fight if it's made. A coin toss.

Last I heard Zhang was still undecided on facing Parker or Kabayel.

Maybe this talk of Parker/Kabayel is Parker trying to force the hand of Zhang to make a decision, rather leave him side lined and inactive with no clear next opponent or ability to look at alternatives.

Not sure what's going on with that rematch clause but I'd rather see some fresh matchups. Bring on Parker vs Kabayel please.

Zhang against someone he is favored against ... in China ... makes sense while he's still in good shape.

Yeah I don't get why it's taking this long to agree a rematch. Parker is in a bind, he can't do anything until Zhang makes up his mind. Both sides want it according to Frank but then why has their been no announcement? It's been 5 months since the last fight and Zhang has already had an interim fight and beaten Wilder while Parker has been side lined.

Parker says he's likely fighting on the Fury-Usyk undercard in Dec.

Could it be Kabayel? Maybe - but no actual word yet

    Turki will have the say
