Havent watched the fight but I dare say its over for Mick. Hes always been a warrior and Ive always been a huge fan. Hope he doesnt fight on too long and gets away from the game with his health in tact.

Watching the fight now. Katsidis looks like hes really lacking any power. The bloke comes to fight though!! True warrior.

Good thing I listened to my gut and stuck with Mensah. I was hesitant because Michael's promoter was doing the fight, and figured he'd probably win a decision regardless, but I went with Mensah anyways.

It wasn't so much taking all the shots, we knew we were getting that with Katsidis. Mensah doesn't hit all that hard, else he'd have stopped the much smaller and wide-open man who kept leaping into range and gagging for it.

The problem was that his offense was so toothless. Just jumping in and slapping, terrible.

He looked strong and sharp @ 140 against Lozada, but otherwise...:verysad Feather-fisted at light welter to go along with being sloppy and an utter liability defensively. Really ought not trudge on much longer, although knowing his disposition he's quite likely to disappoint fans who don't want to see him hurt...

    :deal

Yeah, when I saw the weights, he didn't even limit. 138 opposed to a taller man at 140, the bells began to ring.
He's not the first nor last not to handle a few extra pounds.

A few losses to the top end is no big deal, if, he takes a couple of steps down, & can get back to LW, but with Mick living there, they will not be giving him any glass jaws.
For that reason, I hope he hangs them up.:good

He will probably end up getting punched for pay sadly and I see him going up to welter where the money is better . :-(

Yes , i watched it and i scored it a draw , very close but not the end of the road for Katsidis , he should move over to england , plenty of opposition to build himself back up to world level , would just love to see him fight Hatton ! wow that would be some tear up !

I watched the fight & i'm afraid I think the wars are starting to catch up with Kats. I hoep he gets out before he starts taking more punishment.

u guys must take into account katsidis does not normally fight at 140LB, he fights one division below, he was never going to look strong against a bigger opponent at 140LB.
