He can make that statement because that is his opinion. Just like you have your opinion. You are kind of arguing against your own post
I think even Oscar said something like smith was the best 154 champ too! lol....back on that Charlie I guess....lol....
I think Timmy is over the hill, I am of the opinion that his best days are far behind him and his body is worn. I don't think he can take what Keith or Kell can dish out. I even question if he could take Porter's pressure right now. All the heart in the world, but when the body starts going..... I've been highly critical of Brook in the past, but honestly he's a speciman, he's pretty much a total package guy, Keith is more athletic but Kell can sit there and box slow, and he's gigantic. I think he's firing on all cylinders at this stage. Hence me believing he'd be too much for pretty much anyone else out there. (Except maybe Keith)
doutful, hes only hyped because hes a triple duck oponent similar to geale before getting destroyed by cotton
errol spence is big too....would be a problem for ANYONE in that division but if my guy was fighting errol spence I don't think id be like "oh hes the best at 147"
True Spence is also a huge WW (soon to be JMW), but he hasn't been vetted like Brook, Thurman, or Porter have. All 3 have gone through the fire and come out the other end. He hasn't yet. I've also noticed at least 3 glaring liabilities in his style that can be exposed by fighters with certain attributes (notably Brook's and Thurman's attributes). End of the day, WW is a very interesting division.
id hardly say brook has "been through the fire" like i said...porter is a tough dude...a tough out...thats a tough fight for just about anyone.....but thurman went through the fire with porter....brook beat him but it wasnt that impressive and was hardly "fire" and take away porter and there is no "fire" in brooks resume...im not trying to slaughter brook here just dont think hes been through much fire like u said
Brook is undefeated, arguably the #1 welterweight but definitely top 4, and Loefler is selling the fight in the best interest of his client and his own pocket book. Glad I could clear that up. /thread
For a guy who went life of death with Carson JonesX2 and his best win is a hug fest MD over Porter and looking at the other names in his resume, you gotta be either a 'birt' or a 'lame' to call him the best at 147. What has he proved so far? really? atsch
It's between him and Thurman, I think Brook's probably the better fighter but Thurman has got the better resume for sure.
Another poorly veiled attempt at bashing GGG. Yes he probably is, he certainly beat Porter a hell of a lot more convincingly than Thurman did, and Thurman is top notch.
