He's fighting Gavin as well as Rios, not instead of. And as much as you like to lie and say Rios was available, then why did he say a few days ago he wouldn't be ready for the Bradley card at the end of June.

The fight was never going to be offered sooner to Bradley because Brook wasn't even suppose to be on this card himself until 5 weeks ago, and Brook and Gavin had to split the 2.1m matchroom lost on a purse bid between them.

You think Bradley would've come to the UK for a max half of what he's getting for the far easier, far more notice, in his own country Vargas fight and fight Brook? Well history has told us he wouldn't when he didn't fight Khan back at 140 under similar circumstances.

 

In his defense, he tried to get Khan and Khan ducked him. so he gets a pass from me but after this fight its GAME TIME!!

 

He can't fight Maidana at the moment for two reasons:

1. Maidana weighs about 250lbs and has shown very little interest in returning to the ring anytime soon.

2. Maidana is coming off back to back defeats so wouldn't be sanctioned by the IBF as a challenger until he gets back in the W column,

They look at Maidana for the Summer but Maidana made his intentions clear he wasn't going to be back by that point

 

Yet he's fought 3 fighters who were top 10 ranked when he fought them....which is 2 more than Thurman :hi:

They wasn't Bundu was no.1, ducked Brook so he wouldn't get knocked out and fought Thurman. That left Dan and Bizier as the two highest ranked guys who wasn't coming off a loss and they met in a final eliminator.

Their last rankings was August at look Porter (coming off a loss to Brook cannot fight a final eliminator), Bundu (pulled out), Bradley (coming off a loss to Pacquiao cannot fight a final eliminator), Alexander (lost to Khan)....then who's the top two ellerbe the alt? :think
