I'm a big fan of Wincobank fighters but I don't think Brook will have 'it' at world level. Herky jerky, straight up, not particularly fast or snappy, not that athletic to pull off the problematic ingles style.
Obviously, u haven't seen Kell fight. He is no where as chinny as Khan. Yeah, he isn't as fast as Khan, but, his power is the same and he has better defense than Khan. Unlike Khan, this kid is tough.
He is still young give him time and more fights before you judge him. He will be pushed along in the next year and will be fighting for the EBU title in 2009,or atleast that is his aim. There is no question he is above British level he has won his last two fights in fine style, albeit against limited opposition, but he can only beat whoever is put before him. I believe he has the tools to be a force at world level one day.Time will tell I suppose
Kell needs to fight some better fighter's instead of the likes of Earnie Smith three times and guy's with no chin. I havn't see anything yet in terms of style, offence, defense or power that's above domestic/European level.
It's clear to see that Khan has potential beyond that of Brook. Khan has thing's that really stand out. Like his crazy hand speed for instance. Yes he has flaw's but Khan makes you go "wow" at times. Brook has'nt made me do that.
Warren has proved his confidence in him by taking him through the ranks in the correct manner, something hes recently avoided doing. Hes fought the top domestic contenders and has shone. British belt followed by the European later this year. If he was a light welter I put my house on him getting a world strap, but in this division im not sure at this time. A very composed operater for his age and he can bang.
Why would you knock Brooks resume but not that of Khan? They're very similar in that they have fought a lot of over-matched opponents. Also,Khan has an unbelievably wobbly chin. That is a factor that may let him down.Brook has no particular attribute that will let him down like that
