Is Kelly Pavlik a viable Manny Pacquiao opponent?

I dont pick against Pacman anymore. Pacman wins.

I suggested this same match up on another boxing site....it's good on paper, but no way Pavlik can get down to 160 anymore, much less something like 154.

I'd rather see Pacman fight someone in the 147 pound range.....

 

kelly can't even make 160 anymore no way in hell would he do a catchweight which is what would be required to fight Pac.

 

It would be far worse. Pacquiao hits more, hits faster and probably hits harder than Martinez. He also doesn't take off 3-4 rounds at a time.

 

People are calling for Pac-Williams so why not...

From the looks of it, Pac's next opponent will likely be Berto, Bradley/Alexander/Mosley/PW/Martinez. All good fights.

Arum said Pac's next opponent unlikely to be from top rank as he has beaten them all.

 

Pavlik would get KO by Pac. Kelly is done at least beating top fighters.

Screw Pavlik. Who wants to see his lame ass fight anyway?

He can take some shots but thats about it. You know, now that he has been brought up, he is pretty similar to Margarito in a lot of ways.

 

He would be soundly beat but he definetly isn't getting KO'd. To think that pac would knock out Pavlik is completely ridiculous.

 

The first flush right hand ends the fight. I've been on ESB for over 4 years, and this is without a doubt the single most ridicluous thread I've seen to date.

 

Pavlik is not a viable opponent because he has no title.Martinez or Williams should be the next step-up for Pacman but i get the feeling Roach thinks they are too big.
