Is Kelly Pavlik a viable Manny Pacquiao opponent?

I wondered the same thing when Pavlik was on the undercard of Pac-Margarito. Both guys on the same card would have been a great set-up for this fight. Both are with Top Rank and if you make it for some minor belt than you have the whole title in another weight division to add to the promotion. Not too mention, keeping Pavlik at 160 when he should probably fight at a higher weight would help Pacquaio.

Like before I still don't think this fight happens but I wouldn't be shocked if it did. But, unless Pavlik is seriously hindered by staying at 160, he beats Pacquaio. Pavlik's stock may be dropping but he's still a bigger, younger, and better fighter than Margarito. It would be an extremely interesting fight but Pavlik would ko Pacquaio.

 

Why Pavlik?? Pac will take Martinez/Pwill winner instead . That's the 160 lbs lineal title. That will Make Pac 5 times Lineal & 9 weight title holder!! That will become an unbreakable record for pac!! That will make Pac the Greatest of all time!!

 

I keep sayng it but him beating felix sturm would be easier and will grant him that title as well, after that he can fight williams or martinez if he wants to
