The guy is a good fighter no doubt, but his tallent was hugely over rated before the hopkins fight and he was shown to be quite limited by a wiley old fox. He is young and can still acheive a lot. But he will never be the world beater that he was hyped up to be.
Well, the part about me laying out the way to beat KP was true. But, I've been a boxing fan since about the time God invented dirt. Any astute observer can see can see a given fighter's problem areas, and nearly every fighter has problem areas. The premise of this poll is ridiculous. On ESB, KP had no chance against Miranda, and JT was suppose to beat him 120-108! ****, we've had people on here insisting that Pav had to watch out for Rubio and Lockett's power! Disgruntled Taylor fans, Abraham nut huggers, and the Calzombies still insist that Pav is a one dimensional plodder with nothing but a 1-2. Ya -- he won a clear UD over the man who beat Hopkins twice, but all he has is a 1-2atsch
Jeezus H. Christ!! Audio, I know you know better than that ****!! If only you knew the GREAT lenghts Pavlik went thru PERSONALLY to make Arum pull the plug on the Mora fight. Got damn. And Hopkins didn't ruin ****!! Yeah he beat a foot of dangling snot out of Kelly for 12 rounds, but Pavlik is by no means ruined. Back to Mora, Ayala whom AA PICKED for a Option Defense had a DRAW with Mora the previous ****in' fight. WTF are some of ya'll smokin' these days and where can I buy some?
Right on capitan! the only reason I mentioned (again:rofl) your laying out of "How to beat Pavlik 101", was to disprove the way Nallege and several others keep insisting that you just blindly follow Pavlik, with no regards to his good and BAD qualities.:yep
I respectfully disagree, sir. Pavlik is gonna continue to **** his detractors off more and more, until HE doesn't feel like it anymore. That wiley old fox just happens to be a very highly ranked ATG, who had his self proclaimed best perfomance of his illustrious got damn career.:deal
Reality is that they don't like it when I lay out the obvious ways and reasons Abraham would lose to Pavlik. Those guys all tend to ignore the fact that I've repeatedly pointed out Bute and Kessler would make me a nervous wreck if KP were fighting them.
Yupz. And it's not even so much the REAL AA fans, they are a decent bunch of boxing fans for the largest part. But in these debates it's VERY EASY to see who is a REAL fan of AA (ex.'s Big Bone, BodySnatcher, Odo, Tom, Land Shark, and several others) and who is simply a got damned Pavlik hater.:deal
Agreed -- and I like all those guys you named. Some times I like to post a wind up just to get 'em goin', but they know me, and willingly play along. I was just having a very good conversation with Odo.
I like them too, as they also know the proper way to pull a wind up. But the other ****ers who have an OBVIOUS hate on Pavlik agenda to follow, I know I don't have to name. They are obvious for all to see.
I hope your right. But i honestly cant see it myself. I was one of the few who could see the Hopkins saga coming. Hopkins didnt expose him as such he just could see that Kelly lacked any real movement and had a game plan to counter it. If it wasnt Hopkins it could have been Calzaghe or any fighter that is a good tactical fighter. It was waiting to happen. But it can be worked on. Its not like the guy is old.
Cool. the waiting to happen, I don't know. Well I guess, since Pavlik ain't scared of NOTHING, and for his voluntary he decides to chase the champs of the 2 higher weight classes, both ranked in the p4p top 5. If you have balls like that, sure, you prolly gonna lose one here or there. Overall, good post, Sir.:yep
