Becuase through 34 fights Hatton's biggest wins were over Ben Tackie and Vince Phillips. Not quite the same is it?

This is like saying what has Hatton really done? Beaten a past his prime Tsyzu with a hometown referee in his pocket, and then beaten by an only slightly above average Collazo who had the decision robbed by him and then KTFO by Mayweather.

I don't agree with Hatton not having beaten anybody, but it is just as ludicrous to say that Pavlik has only beaten a couple of overrated fighters in Taylor and Miranda.

The guy who posted that is a joke.

Nice bit of ESB ****ed up logic. I don't rate Taylor so therefore I mustn't rate Mosely, Tito and DLH??? :huh Try and construct a decent argument instead of just putting words into my mouth. I don't have a "problem" with Pavlik, he's a good, young fighter but things really are getting out of hand around here when evaluating his achievements and potential.

Are you saying, as it stands that Pavliks resume is more impressive than Hattons?

The was meant to be an example of skewed logic based on what you MIGHT say. :patsch Fine...you didn't congrats. But so what if he's overrated by some posters on a message board? Maybe you've never noticed, but every single ****in fighter is both overrated and underrated on ESB. Who gives a **** about that. When respected opinions are overwhelmingly saying he's an ATG already, then you may have a point.

But until then, you saying Pavlik is overrated is just an empty statement backed BY NOTHING.

Through 34 fights, its pretty obvious it is. What had Ricky Hatton done through 34 fights? Hatton was 25, Pavlik is 26. Hatton biggest wins were against Tackie and Phillips. (Big ****ing Deal). Pavlik through 34 fights is the lineal MW Champion with wins over Taylor (twice) and Miranda. Two of those wins via brutal KO. Hatton had two UD's against MUCH LESSER COMP.

I agree with your point that the way a fighter beats a bum/ B-level should be taken in to account when judging his talent. I have been trying to make the same points to the David Haye haters.

Look, You asked Hermit to apply the 34 wins criteria to Hatton. At 34 wins, I told you who his best wins were, compared to Pavlik's @ 34, which include Taylor X2 and blowing out Edison Miranda.

So your asking me if I'm saying that is pretty stupid, because I said exactly what I posted.

When we have "Pavlik P4P Number 1" threads, then I'd say things have gotten out of hand? The guy is a decent champ in a poorish division, some people around here seem to think he's the second coming of Stanley Ketchel.

I dont understand how people can have Pavlik in the top 8 pound 4 pound for only fighting one genuine world/proven champion in J.Taylor

Oh, a brutal KO??? Well thats different. When Pavs achieved what Hatton has then maybe you'll have a case. Until then its all up in the air.

So? Some fans thinking he's #1P4P doesn't mean **** in the realk world. If you let what fans think on this board dictate your own thoughts, you've lost the war my friend.

If I read Newspaper or magazine articles on Kelly being #1 P4P, or see some respected boxing columnist say that, that's one thing. If fans say that on a message board....means squat.
