If you are a hardcore boxing fan...you know that Holt is the real deal.....the only problem he has not live to his full potential....it really reminds me of marlon starlings carrear....great great fighter...but never got his **** together. what you guys think?
I consider Starling to be a better and more accomplished boxer than Holt. Starling had a good run at one point, made five or six defences of his belt. I also remember his losses to Curry, Nunn and Blocker as being fairly competitive. He was never stopped. Holt on the other hand has probably achieved all he possibly can and is unlikely to trouble anyone of note in the future.
i have always liked holt and thought he was talented but i think we have seen the best of him still a good fighter but fringe contender is were i see him now
Holt would kill for a career like Starling's but I see your point. Holt has a very impressive offensive arsenal when he lets his hands go, but he's simply not durable.
