Is Kenny Bayless the worst referee of all time?

An off night is a couple of accidental mistakes. KB's performance in the fight was monumentally biased. Did you actually watch the fight?

 

According to the rules, systematic or excessive clinches are not allowed.Baylee did not enforce the rules.Rather he protected Floyd from doing any infighting.

 

You forgot the Dave Parriss option because he is easily the most incompetent and biased ref I've ever seen. And it's not even close.

Paul Sita during Norwood-Gainer.

Just ridiculous. Norwood somehow was not DQ'd in the first 10 rounds. Then in the 11th, Sita apparently thought the 20 count rule for fighters who get knocked out of the ring also applies to low blows and does a 20 count when Gainer drops Norwood via 2 retaliation low blows. Norwood beats the 20 count at 18 or 19.

Then he claimed that the shot wasn't low and the ruling was that Norwood "didn't make an attempt to get up by the count of 10", even though he did a 20 count.

He claimed it was "very close" and not low, yet does a count to 20?

 

Unbelievable that anyone can think that he is anything but an excellent referee. He was true to his pre fight instructions as he always is. He's not perfect-no one is, but as far as referees go, he is top notch.

 

Bayless is one of the best refs in boxing.

That an idiot fails to comprehend Cause & Effect has no real impact on how good Bayless really is.
If you want to place blame where it belongs then blame the cheater who head butts, kicks and bites like the UFC fighter he truly is. That cheap wine called, M2/20-20.

 

It is without any doubt that he did a lousy job... And it was not by chance.

By the way, it is strange that Floyd fights with US judges and referees all the time. I guess he has something to be afraid of.

 

I was thinking the same watching Floyd's arm-bars, chokes, etc. He is very good at those technics.

 

He appears to always protect Mayweather. He appears to be Mayweather's servant................I am thinking about not buying the fight because I expect him to be very busy helping Mayweather out..................

I would have voted yes just for his performance with Maidana but there are way worse than him.Past prime Cortez was verging on the trolling status.
