Is Kessler another Lacy??

Just like Lacys tactics works vs lesser fighters, but not against elite, the same applies for JC in this fight. His swarming tactic overwhelms lesser fighters, but not elite.

No doubt in my mind that Kessler will make JC bleed alot. Still it will be an exciting match for the history books. Kessler by TKO 9. Kessler will be KD'd in 6th by an upper cut.

 

I am already in the JC mafia - just not in this particular fight.

 

JC's unreal guys, I am not being biased, he's truly a physical phenom. He's past his prime in terms of handspeed, not even 60% of the Mitchell fight for example(that was ****ing awesome!!! ), but his footspeed is at 95%, so it evens out well.

I expect another showcase performance. Kessler is not done if he loses badly, he's really a masterful fighter and I like his class personality and he brings in charisma that boring jokes like Jermain Taylor fail to do, I could see Kessler cleaning the remnants of SMW and even having a trilogy with Chad Dawson, establishing a great resume, but I really don't feel he defeats JC and it's not from my bias.

You guys have to remember that I was on here doing this same deal months before the Lacy bout, saying that Lacy wouldn't win a single round and was going to get brutalised, jesus what a masterpiece, it was one sided but it was ****ing beautiful, they all laughed at me though before the fight and praised guys like Jermain Taylor and discounted Joe as nothing, especially Deram.

It's going to be great, I'm sad that I can't go to it live.:-(

If JC is not 100% of his best - he will definately loose. This will be his biggest fight, and anything less than at his best will promise his demise.

If Blocky is right, I'll tip my hat off for his analysis, and will give him kudos when the talk comes up for this fight. However, I still think he has displayed bad manners on this forum.

After that I will still discuss boxing, because I love boxing, not Kessler.

 

He'll be like he was vs. Lacy, that's 100% enough mixed with experience. A peak JC fully focused like he was against Lacy obliterates most guys, save for RJJ, who has an extreme stylistic advantage with that speedy lead right and matched footspeed, as well better skills overall...

Did you ever see the Byron Mitchell fight? Mitchell was a 1 punch KO hitter, hits Calzaghe with a temple shot that Calzaghe walked right into and Calzaghe drops, up at 3 and then finishes the poor ******* off after he obliterated him in 1st round, it was amazing. I love JC's entertaining fights.

I'll tell you what though DanePug, MK beats a peak James Toney 10/10 times, that's the type of quality I am talking about with Kessler, he's definitley quality in every sense of the word.

 

But you didn't give me credit for calling Margarito ****, even though he lost wide to Williams, who's overrated as hell also.:|

Kessler will win the fight - Im very sure he will. In fact Im getting more and more convinced each day.

I wouldnt join the JC mafia though - just as I seriously dont like to be considered member of the MK ditto.

But because I drive alot in highline motorized vehicles roll: ) and stuff like that (I work alot)- I simply dont have the time to be a member of any mafia. Im busy enough managing my own

You deserve kudos for your accurate analysis of the Margo-Williams fight(even if I think you underestimate Williams worth), and I am sorry that I haven't been on here to confirm that.

You weren't completely wrong in the Judah fight. Judahs best chance, as you said was in the early rounds, and that was correct. He just didn't put Cottos lights out. That is boxing.

Yes, I have seen the Mitchell fight delayed(much delayed). JC has a strong will along with his unique and top quality fighting skills. He is definately a natural born kill.. erh fighter - no doubt.

However, as you say, Kessler is top notch and it will take more than the usual swarming to take Kessler. Not saying that it can't be done, but JC must be at his very best.

no way. kessler is far superior to lacy in every department from power to skills. im not sure kessler could take as many shots as lacy and still see the final bell, but kessler isn't the type of fight who'll ever get hit that much.

the only possible way anyone could potentially ko kessler is with a one punch ko he didn't see coming or a sweet power combo. even then i think his beard is pretty solid. never seen him blink let alone wobble from a punch.

guys like kessler and mayweather are cold blooded operators. they don't let ANYTHING take them out of their gameplan. they set their own plan and shut down what ever the opponent tries.

whether or not this will work against calzaghe is another matter altogether, BUT you never know
