Yeah, I'm really hoping that what we saw there wasn't a fluke and that he's really fit and ready (& willing) to go on back to bigger and better things. The latest developments are discouraging, though. :verysad Equally unsavory options.
Why would any Kessler fan want another Ward fight? Ward will beat him every single time out, and at this stage of their careers, there is just absolutely no way Kessler would beat him.
i was honestly surprised he came back after the froch fight...considering the whole eye problem. i was happy b/c i'm a fan but was a bit surprised. thought he'd go out on top having just won the strap. now his hands...
Because every Kessler fan knows that it's the worst Kessler has fought that night he fought Ward. He can do much better and without those dirty stuff from Ward it's potentially a completely different fight.
either hes hurt or he is looking for a better check hes really just ****ing over Stieglitz whose trying to wait patiently but is in his prime right now on a nice run and isnt getting younger if i were Stieglitz id fight a more winnable Abraham fight for similar money
Yes, it looks that way! He had the tools and the talent to become a great fighter, but all BS he went through right after the Calzaghe loss clearly ****ed him up. A fragile body to injuries, a shitty promotor and to many pointless fights before the super6.. No wonder he`s been on the downslide since that!
Magee is a downgrade from Stieglitz only in terms of belts; regarding styles though, i give Magee a better chance of pulling the upset.
If he fights Magee, I look very much forward to seeing a past prime and rusty viking warriour do better than the in prime Bute did.
well, if he does that he would certainly be ready to give Ward a helluvafight; but if he'd look bad or have a close fight than he'd better consider retirement.
Gutsy call considering Magee's a southpaw. Could be fun to quote if the fight comes off. ...4 knockdowns then? KO around R6, R8 or what? :hey
