I aint surre but I think the fight showed its not just about speed. Speed alone wasnt enough to stop Maidana.

Khan is faster than Manny Pacquiao. Manny speed has slowed down.

He might be as fast but hes more telegraphed and sometimes gives up height when punching. Then again hes far more rangy

One thing i know for sure is that khan would be a very easy night for pacquiao.
Still Amir made me a fan last night with his great performance.

I'm not sure Roach has done wonders for him as has sparring with Pacquaio amongst others. Khan is too old to learn some things and will carry some mistakes throughout his career no matter who trains him

steward was able to transform lewis and wlad pretty late, roach did wonders with chavez jr who's already had over 30 fights, i think its possible.

also stewards gym also has top sparring with up and coming prospects from detroit.

Others didnt do so well under Steward, Viv Harris, Cintron are 2, Chavez isn't particularly good anyway, Wlad was already world class and Steward just made him much more cautious and him jab/grab and keep his hands up. I don't think Stewart can give the time, effort or provide the quality sparring that Roach can

Perhaps, Jermaine Taylor went backwards under Steward too

jermain taylor hasn't gone anywhere, he has always been the same, i dont think any trainers can save guys like cintron and taylor.

I think Khan has faster handspeed but thats because pac mixes up his shots more. Overall Pac is faster and definitely has better reflexes
