His hands are a bit faster but not as accurate...therefore Pacquiao hits the target more often with the same output. When there's no big gap in speed, accuracy becomes more important than speed.
It's possible. They both throw blistering combinations, but Khan has to set to throw his and Manny can throw one, then hop to the side and throw another one while his opponent thinks he's safe. Khan probably has faster hands but Pacquiao seems to have more overall speed, if that makes any sense. Manny can get his shots off before Khan would, even if the actual handspeed is a little slower. They are both ridiculously fast regardless.
Khan does the RJJ whoosh whoosh noises when he throws...makes his shots seem a lot more effective than they actually are, but he IS fast...if not faster than Pac, at least on par...but footspeed? Not even close.
Right you don't "think" this because you obviously don't know **** about boxing. To say Jermain Taylor didn't get worse under Manny, demonstrates that you obviously are unfamiliar with Jermain, his career, and what he did or didn't do to bring him success. Jermain Taylor as he was moving through the ranks worked behind one of the p4p best jabs in the world. Which allowed Jermain to not cleanly lose a round in his career prior to the mid rounds of Hopkins I. That being said, Pat made sure Jermain was in shape, Pat always focused on Jermains movement and defense (which was never great, but with it being an emphasis JT was always mindful of it) and it was a formula for winning. When he left Pat (because he was too demanding) and got with Manny, he turned into a wild right hand throwing, wanna be knock out artist. No one talks about Jermains jab anymore because it got shoved to the wayside, he started spending the fight "anxious", "waiting", trying to set up a big right hand that he doesn't have. He has decent power, but nothing to hang your hat on, he was a far more formitable challenge when he got off first, working behind a super stiff jab, and allowed it win him rounds, then if necessary he could throw his power shots and attempt to put someone away. 100% fact Jermain Taylor is worse off because he left Pat Burns and got with Manny. It's not Manny's fault, Manny is a great trainer, but he didn't fit JT point blank.
i only read the first line of your post and let me tell you ***** jermain taylor fought the same way before steward, with steward and after steward, he fights with his ching hanging out infront of his front foot and keep scratching his head, always done it.
His hands are as fast as Pacquiao's, but his feet are clumsier and slower. Also, Pac hits a lot harder.
khan has faster hand speed but not foot speed. Pac punches harder though... pac has slowed down a bit...
Khan has the fastest hand speed in the sport, but still needs tuning under Roach. In a few years when he has fine tuned it under Roach and his timing and angles are near mastered, your in some deep deep **** fighting King Khan.
