Is Khan only saying he'll fight brook in the next 12 months..

    Because everyone is calling for the fight so he doesn't wana look like he's ducking (but he is)?

    I watched the interview and khan is scared to fight brook you can see it all over:lol:

    The excuses he gave were cringeworthy. "I have to prepare for ramadan, so that date isnt realistic"
    "I have already given my word to an oppponent so i can't, I never back down from my word to someone" - but didn't he give his word to devon alexander then ducked him for a mayweather fight that never happened:lol::lol:

    This guy is painfully embarrassing. Thoughts?

    his Ramadan excuse has well and truly been debunked on the british forum, and using it as an excuse makes him, the religion and people following the religion look bad imo.

    if his opponent is a decent one then fine, Bradley is a bigger scalp than brook for instance, (though less money and no world title)

    if he wants to fight may 23rd? its only 7 weeks or so away, any know if Bradley / algeiri / broner are in training?

    What interview is this, I watched all the fighthype ones and the quotes dont add up, unless you twisted them a bit.

    yea khan is scared that's why he says the fight will happen in the next 12 months and not only that put it out there for a winner takes all.... wow he must be so scared to put up that kind of offer and also confirm he will fight him.....makes so much sense.... bunch of dumbasses on here i tell u :patsch

    I agree. It doesn't add up that Khan is scared. For one thing, Brook isn't a scary fighter. Compared to Khan he is pretty limited, quite mechanical really, and doesn't possess one punch KO power, which would expose Khan's real weakness: suspect whiskers.

    More likely, Khan just sees Brook as a fight that will always be there for him and in the meantime he is going to chase the bigger fights in the US.

    I don't like that, but it's probably the reason.

    "I have already given someone my word!". :rofl This is one shameless clown that Boxing fans will hopefully never have to experience again. He has made a career breaking his word by calling out fighters he knows he will never fight on twitter.
