Is Khan The Most Exciting 'Mainstream' Fighter?

But his mentality is terrible and has ruined atleast 3 of his fights.

 

Word for word that exact same statement applies to Khan.

Ortiz is more exciting than Khan no matter how you slice it.

 

Call me old school but I don't find quitting that exciting.

Khans fights with Maidana and Peterson were both more exciting than Victors... his fight with MM was turning into a FOTY candidate, then he gave up

 

Pacquaio? His fights are entertaining, but honestly when was the last time he stopped anybody?

Khan & Ortiz are more exciting than Rios and they would both beat Rios

 

6 round dancing competition with McCloskey where they bounced and hopped and jousted for a good bit, combining for about 30 landed punches until the ever so slightest cut calls it off.

Zab bending at the waist not throwing punches while Khan squares his shoulders and throws powerful but awkward looking combinations. Low blow KO.

Clearly bigger and superior in every way in a total mismatch against Carlos Molina. Quits on stool.

Bleeding punching bag Barrera in total mismatch.

Fight with Paulie. One sided beatdown for 11 rounds until stopped on his feet. Khan was much longer and faster, repeat of jab, jab, lunging right hand.

In terms of excitement, regarding most of Khan's career I will say NOPE.

So, what are his exciting fights?
L KO1 Prescott
W UD12 Maidana
L SD12 Peterson
L TKO4 Garcia

Ortiz/Maidana was much more action packed and exciting than Khan/Maidana but I won't argue too much as both were among the best fights of the year which they took place in... Khan/Peterson was no better than Ortiz/Peterson for one reason if no other; it had 326 less Khan-initiated clinches which ruined the action... Ortiz/Berto has more sustained excitement than all of either of their fights... Ortiz/Mayweather was a more exciting and dramatic 4 rounds than Garcia blasting Khan down than chasing and punishing him around until the finish... Ortiz has his one sided multiple KD onslaught of Vivian Harris to compare to Khan over Zab (not the quality of the match up, but in terms of pure excitement which is the whole point of this thread)... Ortiz/Josesito was 9 rounds of real good action with a dramatic finish. It alone is better than all of Khan's fights with the exception of Maidana and Prescott, in my opinion. And while the Prescott fight was crazy exciting, that's only because it lasted about 60 seconds. Not sure if that's fair to compare with 30 minutes of good action Ortiz/Josesito brought us.

This started with me saying his mentality has ruined some of his fights (ortiz) It was never about who is more exciting between Khan and Ortiz...

 

yeah, I like to watch Khan cause I wanna see who's gonna knock his ass out next. I like the way he crumbles and staggers about shitting all over himself. I also like to see if he can break the back peddling speed record. That's exciting as hell for me. I be placing bets with my homies and all that.

 

Khan is only exciting because he's stupid. It's like watching a NASCAR race where seatbelts and brakes aren't allowed.

To some folks that doesn't make a difference, but to me it's much more entertaining to watch a guy take smart, calculated risks than some guy going full ******. Marquez, Froch, and Rios.

 

AND Cotto. :good

 

Khan and Ortiz need to fight. It'd be an absolute barn stormer.

 

Cotto is far more exciting and consistent.
