Would you like to compare the quality of Maidana, to that of a prime Chavez?

You teeny boppers have ALOT to learn about boxing.

When did I say that you brain dead?

In his brief prime however he was far better than Con.

Taylor had a better win post-Chavez, in beating an undefeated champ and physically larger Davis, than Khan has had so far.

Khan has a lot of improvement to do if he's to be considered on Taylor's level.

i believe the opposit, khan wouldn't come close enough for a counter puncher to get him, he'd throw his combos and be out of there.

Look here you stupid ***git, you're the one acting as if MT was some sort of ATG fact is he was good very talented fighter but JCC soul raped him after that fight MT was finished, so if someone wants to compare Khan to a pre JCC Taylor then let them it's not as if they're comparing Khan to Pernell Whitaker (an actual ATG) so stop acting so hurt you anal bead.

Post-Chavez version of Taylor beat a better fighter in Aaron Davis than Khan has ever beat.

Contrary to HBOs Legendary Myths, Taylor was actually still a good fighter for a couple years after Chavez, competing in a tough division with physically bigger guys.

Taylor was definitely a better fighter than Khan has shown to be thus far.

Meldrick Taylor was an extremely talented fighter, and a better fighter than Khan is IMO, however Khan may MATCH UP better with his opposition throughout his career, compared to Taylor who had issues certain kinds of fighters.

If Taylor was so "soul raped" after Chavez beat him, then explain to me how he moved up to 147 afterwards and schooled the **** outta previously unbeaten Aaron Davis? Ohhh.... but I bet you didnt know that. Because you know **** all about boxing!

And Chavez would have sent lil Amir straight to Allah. Even a faded Chavez would have.

And its really no comparison. If you've seen any fights of a young Taylor(which I'm willing to bet you havent)... then you would clearly see he was on another level from Khan.

I agree. Kahnis nowhere near the level of Taylor. Taylor had far better skills. The reason he took punishment is cause he made fighters harder onhimslef than he needed to by electing to trade when he didnt need too. But, he had a good chin.

I'm glad to see SOMEBODY on here isnt new to the sport.

Taylor wasnt really finished as a fighter until Norris destroyed him.

Look you stupid mother****er, Amir Khan is not even in his prime yet that's why you're not seeing a comparison (that and the fact your a lil ***** hater)

Yes ATG's of the past would KO current fighters within 2 rounds just because they're from another era. :nut

    JCC TKO Khan in 2

    Ali KO Wlad in 1

    SRL KO Mayweather in 3

:happy:happy your boxing brain is indeed fantastic

1988-1990 Taylor at 140 would be the top dog today in that division.

1991 Taylor at 147 would be a top 3-4 guy there. I'd pick the "ruined" Taylor of 1991 over today's Berto.

He was always going to have a short stay at the top though, Chavez or not.

LOL. You must be like 13.

I was right to assume that you've never seen any Taylor fights.

    Probably no Chavez fights either.

You not only sound like a **** Khan groupie... but one with very little knowledge of the sport.

And I'm STILL waiting for you to explain how Mel was "soul raped" by the Chavez fight, yet still managed to school Aaron Davis at 147.

But I doubt you've even heard of Aaron Davis.
