also, Oscar wouldn't allow himself to get hit multiple times to a guy like Maidana. It is extremely hard to become a PPV fighter in this era. Even though Khan has the look & style, i can't see him becoming a PPV here in the US.

No i wouldnt go as far to say he could be the next De La Hoya, Oscars was the better fighter hands down. Doubt that Khan can ever become as good as De La Hoya

If Khan is anything like DLH, he'll end up losing every big fight he's ever in.:D

He will do well and I feel that he will unify all the belts at 140. Roach will train him to stop fighting for the crowds. If he would have used his jab much more in the fight, it would have been an easy fight. Maidana was as slow as ketchup, but still caught Khan. He will do well at 147 as long as he stays away from PBF.

He needs some more time to develop completely id say 2-3 years and he could be very very dangerous and have a solid fan base but at the rate they are carrying him its not looking good...

Come on man, two to three years? He fought a stupid fight last night by making many mistakes. Who can beat him right now at 140? He fought the heaviest hitter so now is his time. Last nights fight gave him confidence that he can mix it up with anyone at 140. I think he made of overtrained if you heard the commentators talking about all that training with Pac and others.

The comparison is obvious, but Oscar had more power and was more durable. Khan is a little bit less stiff and more fluid with combos, which I think is a very slight advanatge. Good fighter, but he will be in trouble if he has to face someone like.... Berto who would knock him out.

"no way you'll catch khan in a fishnet."

Yes, this sort of thing is prohibited by Allah.
