Is Koscheck-Anthony Johnson an underrated win/performance?

Anthony Johnson is the biggest welterweight I've ever seen.

And he's shown in his career so far that he is a powerful striker (if not the most refined, see Burns, Fioravanti & Yoshida fights) and a strong wrestler (if not the most decorated, see Hardy fight).

Rumour has it he was 200lbs in the Octagon on the night he fought Kos.

And yet Koscheck won the fight on the ground and on the feet, taking Rumble down, controlling him, and submitting him.

Mightily impressive, or not so much? :think

I think Johnson's weakness is off his back and his submission defense, so not so much. Plus Koscheck is an elite wrestler, he's one of the few that can take down pretty much anyone, along with Fitch and Sonnen.

It was a good scrap and impressive win, but I don't think either man will ever be champ.

A performance Kosh can be proud of, but not that big a deal to him or us until he some the belt.

Personally, I see Carlos Condit as the immediate threat to GSP or Diaz :good

Had a whole response typed out, but server ****ed me.

    Long story short version:

    Impressive? Yes. Underrated? No.

It was an enormous fight for Johnson, who I feel was moved up too fast. Koscheck faking knees and poking eyes, acting like a **** in general. This is the fight that made me hate Koscheck.

Solid win against a C level fighter. Rumble will always have trouble with better wrestlers than him.

Ive debated with people long and hard over this fight , because i basically feel Koscheck was in deep **** during the fight due to his poor preperation and Johnsons strength .

Johnson did not catch Koscheck in the eye and still we seen Koscheck jump all over the floor like a ****in ****** looking for a rest , when the replay clearly showed there was no contact

Koschek duely got the TD and secured a RNC against a very limited grappler in comparison to Koscheck

A good W on paper , but i feel if Koschecks antics were seen and the referee alowed the fight to flow fluently Johnson was taking Koscheck out , after all lets face it , it was cheating nothing more or less , all that said Koscheck did finish the fight , so hats are off for that

That was the best Koscheck has ever looked. This was definitely an underrated win for him.
