Rofl. I love everyone bringing up Tszyu's amatuer record. I mean what the **** peoples? We aint talking about dudes with head gear on and pushing buttons for points. We are talking PROFESSIONAL boxing. I dont give a damn if he was 400-0 in amatuer fights. Certainly didnt help his ass when he got TKO'd by ****ing Vince Philips. What was Phillips amatuer record?

    Zoo fans are pathetic.

No disrespect but I believe that me, eze, pimp C, and a host of others have already explained to you that Hatton weighed the same against Mayweather as he does fighting regularly at 140. I mean this isnt rocket science here. He weighed the same against Floyd as he did against Malignaggi. Which means no difference. Which means he was the same. Which means Mayweather didnt have the advantage. Infact he was the smaller fighter on the night. Mayweather 147, Hatton 152.

    Jesus. :patsch

Wow terrible post. Where to start.

    - Castillo and Corrales who are considered the best fighters from 130-135 of their era (Victories over guys like Juan Lascano, Julio Diaz, Casamayor, Frietas, eachother) basically these 2 guys beat the whos who of the super feather and lightweight divisions and Floyd beat them. Man you really need to read a ****ing book.

    - He did not lose to Castillo in the first fight. Who the **** says things like that. Did Oscar lose to Sturm, did Ali lose to Norton twice? Just because YOU dont like the decision dont mean it didnt happen. Floyd was injured then beat Castillo the 2nd time convincingly when healthy.

    - Who the **** is Stevie Johnston lol?

    - How was Corrales weight drained when he fought 4 more times at super feather? Are you saying if Corrales was focused Mayweather only knocks him down 3 times? :rofl

    - The people that think Floyd lost to Oscar dont know boxing, like you. Floyd beat Oscar at 154, his 5th ****ing weight class. How many boxers do you know that have beaten an ATG in their 5th weight class? Please list them out.

    - Ducked Mr. Plaster, yeah thats a knock against his career.

    - I've havent heard anyone proclaim floyd as the best fighter ever. Maybe the best of his generation, best fighter today, not best ever. GTFO.

Yes I said Chavez and Duran deserved to be overrated somewhat because they proved it in the ring. Even though Chavez fought the entire Mexican taxi cab industry, and for the first part of Durans career his opposition isnt that well known either, but they eventually got around to fighting the best. The beef I have with those that put these men on a pedastal is that they werent unbeatable. Especially Chavez. Who I think in his prime loses to alot of fighters. Namely Floyd, Oscar, and Mosley. With Mosley winning by KO. What I am saying is these guys have God status. Duran for instance is far too overrated above 140. Where his record was average at best and he was around 50/50 win loss ratio.

Dude! I'm not nominating ANYONE, just saying that the proportion of Tszyu nuthuggery to other fighters around here isn't even worth the statement yeah?

It doesn't take a smart person to that realise that the appreciation of a fighter is not only made up of in ring achievements, belts won, fights won, fame earned or lost etc etc... there's this little thing people call MAKING UP THEIR OWN MIND... or... OPINION.

Generally, when opinion is massively widespread it becomes accepted and forms the norm. If most think he's great - what is it they see that you don't?

Nobody has seen Tszyu fight De La Hoya, Mayweather etc... (which truly is a real shame) but it must take a blind person to not be able to see the talent that Kostya Tszyu is regardless of that... timing, power, fitness, ring smarts... he had all dude.

To only judge fighters on SOLELY what they achieved in the ring - how many fights won etc is ridiculous. If that was the case, we'd almost all be in agreeance as to who are the best fighters out there all the time.

Fortunately, we DO have the ability to form an opinion and see qualities in our fighters that means, just because they haven't been put to practice against some people, doesn't mean they don't exist.

Tszyu didn't fight some of those bigger names at the time unfortunately. But to let that blind you from seeing exactly how talented he was from the fights he DID have is just plain stupid man. Look outside the box.

(It also helps to look into why it never happened - network problems, he had no name so was all risk, no reward etc - and to listen to thoughts of those guys in hindsight - Mosely, DelaHoya etc have all commented on how tough a fight Tszyu would have been - if they can see it, surely you can too?)

This applies to any other great fighter who's record or legacy leaves a little to be desired...

Rofl You ignore most of my points. Tell me how Mayweather fought nobody special at 130-135 dope. He basically cleaned out 130 then beat the best 135lber in the world.

How would a Stevie Johnston have added anything to Floyds career? Whos only claim to fame was a MD against Castillo and getting KO'd by Juan Lascano? Then fighting a bunch of Journeymen then getting KO'd by Vivian harris? Oh and Casaymayor would have been a good scalp, but really he was just Castillos and Corrales left overs.

Btw, you actually believe Corrales would have beaten Mayweather? :rofl:rofl

And how was Oscar just a bored business man when he knocked out Mayorga in 6 rounds and had a much easier time with him then Mosley did?

If a loss is not a loss then its not a loss. Floyd didnt lose to Oscar, he didnt lose to Castillo and neither decision was all that controversial. Especially the Oscar fight when nobody at ringside or anyone that actually knows the sport questioned the decision. Castillo fight could have gone either way, but many feel myself included that Floyd won the first 5 rounds, and atleast won the 11th. That makes it a draw. Either way Floyd was injured and won pretty easily in the rematch.

But to further expand , can you name another fighter in boxing history that beat an ATG in his 5th weight class and won a legit belt? Can you name another fighter in history that won 6 belts in 5 weight classes and went undefeated with the type of comp Mayweather had?

Hell Hatton is still ranked inside the top 10 P4P and considered the best 140lber in the world. Btw dope dont use the excuse that Hatton was fighting above his weight, he weighed the same as he does at 140 normally. So add in lineal champ Judah and average fighter Baldomir, plus his historic run at 130-140 and you got a very accomplished resume, as to why he is an ATG as a fighter, not in a weight class like Zoo.

    Pick another hobby cousin. :good

So by your logic Danny, the only other fighters on Floyd's level are Joe Calzaghe, Ricardo Lopez and Rocky Marciano.

None of their comps was as good as Floyd. They were undefeated but if you look at the stable of fighters Floyd fought, they were all champions, guys who had great careers themselves. Not like I use record as a determining factor in head to head matchup either.

Watch Tszyu fight Roy Jones as an amateur. He is not overrated at all, not even a little.

Without any shadow of doubt, the most over rated fighters on ESB are the Klitchkos. I think because they are white and have good physiques the hillbillies on here want to mount them. I honestly cannot see any reason to think they are other than a club fighting sibling noveltey act.
