Is Kotelnik a decent level of opponent for Khan at this stage of his career?

Kotelnik has what it takes to beat Khan so Roach better be working miracles.

This is a 50/50 fight. Can't see Khan knocking him out due to his lack of power. Can see Khan win by UD if he has the stamina to last 12 rounds.

I think this ia a pretty much winnable fight for khan. Not only that but could look very good at the same time. Kotelink is a good honest fighter but nothing great. good match making from FW again

Kotelnik beat a very heavy handed undefeated fighter in his last defence.
Kotelnik is very durable and has sound boxing skills. He usually goes the distance.

Kotelnik should last the distance and should not be stopped.
He is also a proper 140lbs fighter.

Kotelnik has a lowish KO ratio against a higher class of opponent, that is higher than the superfeatherweights Khan has been beating but rocked against.

This is a stern test for Kotelnik, he will fancy his chances and he is probably getting a great payday.

I fancy Kotelnik in this one. Be under no doubt, Khans vulnerabilities are not going away and I think Kotelnik will realise that even he has the power to trouble Khan. The fight is in the UK however, so don't count out the master of technical decisions, a headbutt or a flurry on the ropes from Khan.

We can anticipate you giving Khan due credit if he manages to win against the odds then?

Not as much as KCD obviously, he's one of the two people who have voted 'Kotelnik is too difficult a challenge at this stage of Khan's career', if Khan wins he's going to be positively gushing with praise, no doubt.

Well techincally i did, but im afraid it was my daughter messing about whilst i was taking a leak.:D

Having said that i think it is a big jump up in class for Khan, but one that if he is going anywhere, should be able to take. Khan has the frame to go to 140, but i think the match making has flattered Khan since he was wiped out by Prescott, ***an was shite and Barrera was past his prime (although Khan did a good job).

In Kotelnik we have a big 140lb fighter, decent puncher, good chin and very well schooled.

If Khan wins it will be an excellent victory but at the moment im going for Kotelnik.
