His stamina is poor. Punch resistance waining & losses have psychological effects too so ye he's done... Can't see him retiring but he's not beating any of the top boys. Respect though champ. Been fun following his career...

He's done if he doesn't start taking his training and boxing seriously, otherwise he can easily bounce back to the top.

Has he not been doing that tho? I though he was reinvigorated post Ward.. Cleaned his life up etc

I think the fire is fading & he's losing his youth & doesn't have the ability to adapt to either like some could. His style was never going to age well but I never thought he'd fade this quick...

He needs a trainer that will teach him to simply box for 12 rds without looking for the KO in every punch.

If the KO comes, it comes. If not, it's a decison win.
    It pays the same.

If he doesn't learn to box, he will get hurt because his defense is his offense.

IDK man he still looked like he gassed early. According to JDJ he wasn't training properly in Ward 2 fight and this fight was exactly the same, so I struggle to believe he started training seriously and yet there's absolutely no improvements in stamina or punch resistance.

Maybe I'm wrong who knows, I guess you can choose what to believe yourself.

Kovalev blamed the losses to Ward on JDJ and claimed how superior his current trainer is. Guess what pal, trainers don't fight, you do, and Ward beat the fighter out of you, so take responsibility for your losses.

Never liked the fella, and since punchers who get punched out never retain full confidence, he better walk away before taking on the Maccarinelli or David Price role.
