alvarez is 23 - 0, a solid 6 foot, looks hungry and has beaten bute and pascal which are solid wins even if both were past it

Yes. You never know what will happen if Alvarez comes to fight tonight, he might wreck Kovalev or he might get wrecked.

Agreed I like EA but something unsettles me that he was willing to live off step aside money for a few years. Not knocking his hustle js, anyways agree but I got 300 to win 60 Kovalev check my thumbnail
I also bet on underdog Berto 50 to win over 100. I have the money to spare & I've lived near winter heaven, Fl. I think Devon could very well outbox Berto UD but I love a good underdog :sifone:
Was probably dumb seeing Josesito Lopez outbox berth before getting prematurely stopped.

I noticed Kovalev is 494 on a few websites. Which is peculiar, I predict Kovalev 1-2-1 KO lol

Nope, I expect Kovalev to stop Alvarez. Alvarez is better than Pascal was, but he also seemed to get a gift against Chilemba, that should have been an L.

Alvarez is definitely a step-up from Mihalkin (I'm not even talking about Shabransky, lol) but Kovalev has been preparing very intensely for this fight. He's not underestimating Alvarez.

You never know, if Kovalev gets buzzed like ward did to him he could be anyone’s

That shot to the temple made me question Kovalev’s heart, he can be broken down with the right game plan

I actually think Stevenson would beat him now which I didn’t before

I’m still not sold on bivol or beterbiev both Chilemba and Johnson will give them a good go

this is a pretty F'ing legit fight. Alvarez has to dig the body HARD and make Kovalev question everything.

Otherwise , all going according to plan, then Alvarez gets stopped in the 8th.

    No, Kovalev isn't in danger.

Honestly, I'm not sure Alvarez is any better than the Pascal that Kovalev beat to a pulp twice. Alvarez doesn't possess great power and I don't see him being skilled like Ward (although who is at LHW?). Kovalev is going to stop Alvarez, people are sleeping on Kovalev's power, which is still absolutely legit. Name one fighter who hasn't tasted the canvas against Kovalev.

Alvarez has a real chance of winning (35% or so), partly because he's a very good fighter and partly because Kovalev is getting older. And Alvarez has been waiting for years for an opportunity like this, he'll be at his best. Stevenson (who knows him very well) avoided Alvarez for years for a reason.

I'm surprised the betting odds for this fight are favoring Kovalev by such a wide margin.

Good play on Kovalev. Alvarez is a solid opponent and won't be easy for him, but Kovalev edges him in every category, and in power has a big advantage. I don't see an upset here, and I think the odds should be more like 1/10 than 1/5. Most of my profit betting has been on similar odds, and I think in boxing if you can't see the fave losing and you get odds around 1/5 it's great value and you have to bet him.

I like your bets structure. Even if Berto loses you'll make a profit. Alexander while the more skilled deserved close fave doesn't handle the incoming too well, so maybe Berto outhustles him?

Alvarez is good, but I think Kovalev will do well considering his lack of power.

I think Berto winning is possible! Especially if it's a close fight & close to the cards.

It's interesting I'm a lil worried Devon could outbox Berto on points but I think Devon is past his prime. Both are past their prime but I think PBC would prefer Berto win. We'll see fudge it

it wasn't that one blow to the head that bothered Kovalev it was the way Ward kept battering his testes all the time watched by Tony Weekes.
