I don't know about this Haymon/HBO travesty but it's not like Lara has big paydays waiting for him. He's supposed to fight Jack Culcay now. Have you even heard of him before? Probably not. I'm sure they can find a way to make this fight since it serves both fighters right at this point in time.

Lara is contracted to Haymon and PBC. The only way he can fight GGG is if Haymon farms him out to HBO, which he will never do. Lara is a viable chip to face Jacobs, Quillin, and his other MW's. Sending him to HBO to fight in a non-ppv fight and get knocked out in 2 rounds by GGG serves no purpose.

Lara calls out GGG because he knows there is 0.0% chance that fight EVER gets made!

he'll never get in the ring with jacobs either unless Haymon cannot dig up ANYBODY ELSE to fight him.
