his cards have been terrible, even though I usually end up coming up with the same score as him. Tonight i scored the fight 115-113 Cotto, and so did Lederman, but the rounds he picked were ridiculous. COtto had a great 9th round, even though he was boxing instead of stalking and he gave it to Mosley. Then in the 12th Cotto doesnt do ****, and he gives it to Cotto. The same thing during the Calzaghe-Kessler fight. i had the same card, but his rounds were all ****ed up. I remember that the first two rounds he had calzaghe win the first and kessler the second, when I had the opposite (or maybe vice versa, but the point's the same). hwat happened to this guy? Didnt he used to be good?
I have always liked Harold, but his scorecards are looking questionable sometimes. He may have a good score, but round by round, occasionally, he is way off.
100% agreed. There were rounds where he gave to Cotto where I said what the **** not possible. But there were rounds also that were like what the **** those were clearly Cotto's. He gave the 2nd round to Cotto which was clear as day for me. He gave 12 to Cotto which was all Mosley. He gave Mosley round 9 and Cotto clearly boxed his ears off in that round. His Card was goofed up all night.
:rofl b/c he was walking forward? Cotto was boxing his ears off that round and countering with the harder shots.
Lederman scored Marquez-Barrera for Barrera, so I would say his scorecards have sometimes been very questionable.
I remember Mosley tagging him pretty good a few times and looking like he might have buzzed Cotto and had him on the ropes going back before, inexplicably, the referee called time and had them seperate to neutral corners so he could have the corner wiped dry....after like 30 or 45 seconds had gone by in the round. :-(
I like Showtime's press scoring much better than Letterman, thats 3 points of views which eliminates most of the bias Letterman could have. HBO should follow that example, some of Letterman's scores in the past have been horrid.
