You got Wbc Title Holder Gary Russell Jr, Wba Title Holder Leo Santa Cruz, Ibf titleholder Lee Selby, And Wbo Title Holder Vassily Lomachenko. Out of all the champions i just mentioned Lee seems to me to be the weakest Champ in the division, and easily the most targeted guy to win a world title against right now. I think if Valdez wants a sure fire win, he should go after that IBF strap. Thoughts?

I think Santa Cruz would stop Selby IMO.

I think Santa Cruz outworks him if the fight takes place in the US.
If the fight were to take place in the UK(which it won't), Selby might make it much closer and get a SD victory.

GRJR and Lomo I think stops him.

Loma and Russell are the two top guys, then there's not much between the other two.

Not sure about that, I doubt Santa Cruz would land on Selby a whole hell of a lot, don't base a lot off of the Montiel performance, Montiel is an all around more skilled fighter than Leo, Leo would resort to following Selby around and being countered all night and lose 116-112ish.

That may be the case in the UK but I think Selby may not be as good fighting in the US, Cruz outworks him.

Montiel's pressure was bothering SElby:deal. Leo's(pressure) is much much more Diverse as he is the natural Aggressor. Monitel is more of a cutie, he knows alot of tricks due to his experiance and it showed in the selby fight. Back to Leo, He does have size to match Selby, and i think his Punches are more straight and compact. Selby has good Movement but it wont be enough to beat Santa Cruz imo, especially when Selby Sees his punches aint doing much and he'll be forced to go toe to toe and that will be his demise.

That's my point Montiel is a cutie which is why he caused him problems, Leo is nothing more than a taller Evgeny Gradovich. Selby can do that all night and he'll never have a reason to go toe to toe.

Nah. Leo has more skills and more power then Grado.. Dont underestimate Leo because hes not a mover. That boy has some serious skills and will Apply them if he ever granted Selby an opportunity. But i doubt Selby Makes it past 2 More defenses anyways. Somebody will want to scoop that belt up. Oscar Valdez might be a real possibility next year, Magdeleno and Velez (if he beats ronnie) might be as well. Those are all fights Selby could Lose, But i think Valdez will press for a fight in the US while the others travel to the UK.

I can see Selby beating Leo, then I can see it the other way round as well, that'd actually be a really good fight. Hard to predict, Haymon needs to look into this one.

Valdez brutally KO's both of them. Selby-Leo I'll admit is a hard to pick fight but personally I happen to think Leo is a little too rudimentary for Selby to lose to.

It shows how stacked the division is if Selby of Leo are the weakest.

I think Selby might just edge Leo. The last couple of years leo hasn't looked as relentless with his attack. He seems to want to box more at range and i feel hes worse for it. He had on of the best work rates in the business and he was cute coming forward. He wasn't just some straight line brawler like Margo. His short and mid range boxing was superb.

These days he appears to stand of a little more and he is not as effective.
