Some super tasty unification fights there, hopefully we get a couple over 2016. I really rate Selby, although I thought he wasn't at his bets against Montiel. Maybe I underrated Montiel though.
Either way, I'd probably back back him to edge out Cruz. Says a lot about the division if they're the weakest two though

The difference in the Gradovich and Montiel fights was down to styles, for me.

It highlighted that Selby can be timed by a crafty fighter. It doesn't bode well for a potential fight with GRJ or Loma.

Style wise, i too think Selby stands a chance of sneaking a win against LSC.

It speaks volumes for the division if so because i feel Lee Selby is a very solid fighter.

you make good points though i think he sneaks a win against LSC.

First of all John v Marquez was far from the biggest robberies of all time, and secondly you don't change the results of fights even if they are robberies and thirdly how did John lose the lineal title because he wasn't even lineal champ to begin with.

Same as Garcia who lost it on the scales because he never had it to begin with and that happened after the Mares v DeDe Leon fight anyway window licker.

Challenge. Find me one, just one credible source, be it TBR, the Ring or anyone that recognised either De Leon, Mares, Gonzalez or Gary Russell as their lineal champ at any point.

And I don't know what Baldomir has to do with this. He was lineal champ at Welterweight. Your point? The lineal champ held by Roman Gonzalez was held by journey man Sonny Boy Jaro not so long back. He was lineal champ though. Johnny Gonzalez wasn't.
