Is Lemieiux done?

He's got some tools...just crap stamina. Remind me of Daniel Jacobs with his mid-round fade.

Hate to say it be YUP he's done. Can't see the kid having any confidence in him stelf now that he's dumped two in a row. Not only that he clearly didn't learn from his loss and when you look at his fights he hasn't learned a thing or developed at all in a couple of years.

I actually had him winning that fight but really it would have been irrelavent in the long run anyways. He hasn't improved in a couple of years now and it looks like he doesn't have in mental attitude or balls to not take short cuts in training or try to learn new things. He wants to do things the easy way in a fight (punch without taking punches in return). He doesn't want to set up his offense. And by all acounts he doesn't much like being tested in sparing. Its a shame to see such talent wasted because really he has a good chin and a lot of athletic ability but its over or at least it'll be a long road back to being a contender.

 

No he's got all the tools in the world. Accept balls, brains, work ethic and humility. Those are qualities he lacks.

His stamina isn't actually terrible. If you've watched the alcine fight he actually wasn't all that tired at the end. Just doesn't know what to do when his opponent is pressuring him and he can't throw 60 blocked punches a round.

 

Yeah man, he's "done." No one has ever lost two fights in their life before the age of 23 to achieve anything great. Stick a fork in him, it's used car salesman time. ******.

2 losses when you're still learning your trade is a minor, look at Victor Ortiz who was a world champion fought the p4p best and is still getting the big fights.

It is clear adjustments do need to be made for the Lemieiux camp though

 

He need to learn from those defeat and make adjustement but 2 losses at 23 isn't dramatic

Needs to get a better trainer, forget everything he knows about boxing and just start from scratch.

 

Margarito was 9-3 at one point in his career. Lemieux can still do something with his if he dedicates himself to learning and developing the technical side of his game.
