It was a terrible year for young Lemieux and he doesn't possess the speed, reflexes and ring IQ to have a great career. But he can rebound from here and more importantly give us some exciting battles such was the case last week. Question is if he wants to take that hard road of rebuilding with further losses and punishment ahead, so let's just see how he handles 2011 and then predict.

I don't think he's done yet. He's only 22, so he still has time to improve.

He needs to learn some defense techniques and counter punching if he wants to be great. He's way too easy to hit if pressured. He also needs to have a more accurate offensive. He does miss a lot with his shots. He needs to jab more often. He needs to be more technical and use his brain more in the ring.

Lastly, he seemed to fade in the later rounds. Alcine did dominate him in the last 3 rounds. He needs to pace himself even more or be in greater shape so he can be as fresh as early on and still carry his power late.

If he does all those improvement, he may become great. He needs a GOOD trainer to be able to achieve those things. I'm not sure if Ramsay is the right trainer. Let's see.

I'm not in his head. Maybe, maybe not. Has he the courage and the will to start from scratch again? I don't know. Is Marc Ramsay the right coach for him? I don't think so. Lemieux will end with big muscles like Pascal but will he learn to box? Not sure. Ramsay has too many fighters with him and is also Gym matchmaker. Can he be happy even if he never becomes an A fighter? I don't know. Plenty of questions but like many already said: he's only 22.

Still young enough to entertain at a certain level, but forget him being a world class fighter at this point in his career.Too many stiffs early on and poor David believed his own press clippings.A solid club fighter who will still get his local fans cheering him on.

He'd be better at Jr Middleweight I think. It would hide some of his flaws, because he doesn't have a long enough reach for MW and he's clearly not a Qawi kind of fighter who'll get on the inside with good head movement. He should also KO one or two bums to get his confidence back... (I know that's what they wanted him to do to Alcine, but Joachim proved them wrong).

They flat out said that he'll be fed a bum next time out.

    "Just this once though."

It'll be good for his confidence though, needs to happen. After that, give him another decent level fight along the lines of Rubio and Alcine and see if he's learned anything.

Yeah, but 2 losses in a row in that fashion? He's not even that talented, his biggest thing was his powerpunching "aura". The guys you're thinking of were on a journeyman track from the beginning, able to overcame it later.

This Caxap, it's kinda like the Baranquilla of posting, yes? How you pronounce that anyway, Caxap?

He has shown he has no stanima at all and no heart to dig deep and that you have it or you don't and Lemieiux does not have it.
