Those names are still better than what Lennox fought

Lewis has Tua, Morrison, Klit and Briggs
Neither of those did anything either. Apart from VK
Tua is still fighting today and still hasnt won anything since he fought Lewis
Morrison is still fighting on and off and he never did anything after fighting Lewis either
Briggs is still fighting and hasnt done jack, except provide the overrated VK a punchbag for 12

What are you talking about ?
I put him only below Holmes and Holyfield in the last 30 - 35 years ; with Tyson, perhaps in front of him too, but not necessarily - maybe Lennox in front of Tyson. So, let's call them equal.

So, since Muhammad Ali left the game, I have it .....
    1. Holmes
    2. Holyfield
    3. Lewis / Tyson

    4. ? I'd probably give to ... Wladimir Klitschko, who I think might possibly overtake Lewis and Tyson.

I'm giving Lewis a ton of credit - the joint 3rd best HW of the last 35 years, 4th best at worst.

If you think that's some "discredit", you're being far too sensitive, and are probably some sort of fanboy, sorry.

I do base greatness on the fights how they beat them and the manner they beat them. For instance Tyson's Holmes win was greater then Lewis Holyfield win because the way Tyson beat Holmes. Lewis win over Vitali was not a great win and I would not show it to anyone as an exsample of how good Lewis was.

I agree with half of what u said.

This is what i mentioned earlier. Compare Tysons demolition of Holmes (Who was old but only a few years removed form his prime) compared to Lewis' over Tyson (Who was 15 years past his prime)

Lewis win over VK shows his greatness in my book.
He showed he can overcome adversity even at his advanced age (both physical age and stage of his career)
and he beat the overrated VK :good

I'm not arguing against him. I've been respectful on this thread.

My presence on this thread has been marked by me defending Wladimir Klitschko against the usual abuse, more than anything else.

For some reason, defending Wlad and giving him some credit and placing among the top 5 of the last 35 years has pissed people off and made them think I'm "hating on Lewis" or something.

Its when people say stuff like WK would beat George Foreman, Tyson and Frazier that makes one cringe.

The guy who panics when somebody even comes near him, but is somehow going to beat some of the baddest men in boxing.

    Maybe. I like Bowe.
But he burned out even quicker than Tyson did, and looked bad in too many fights - notably against Golota.

Does he really panic ? Does it affect his fight plan ?
    I'm not convinced of that.
Larry Holmes used to fight with a worried look on his face half the time, and Lennox Lewis used to appear panicky and flustered when guys brought it to him. But they managed well enough.

Accomplishment wise, yeah he did fizzle

but H2H, the guy is a monster, he had everything, the only thing he lacked was decent defense and he obviously had motivation issues.

Thats why i pick Tyson to beat Bowe. Bowe is way to open for Tyson.

Yes but Holmes wasnt KTFO 3 times by bums. And Lennox didnt run to his older brother after hed been knocked out. He got up, dusted himself off and got his revenge, both times.

Frazier gave Ali hell. If it wasnt for Alis genious, Foreman may never have lost in Zaire. But somehow WK stands a chance against these guys? A guy whose done nothing but feast on bums and then get knocked out by them

Lennox Lewis is ATG but in the top 5?
    Dont overrate him so much.
There where many great HWs before him.
Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Rocky Maricano, Joe Frazier, Geroge Foreman, Jack dempsy and so on.

Of course he was ... with his size, strength, power, skill set he is an extremely dificult match up for almost any fighter that ever lived .. an easy bout for no one ..
