Talk of boring fights must include the Tua Lewis snoozer. And any worst fight ever list must include McCall2. Lewis loons like to claim their Cowardly Lion fully avenged his one punch obliteration in the first fight. No he didnt.

Exactly. Beating up on a crack user having a mental breakdown hardly erases getting knocking silly in a couple of rounds by a second tier fighter like this. This doesn't happen to top level ATGs. In fact, Lewis is the ONLY one to have this happen twice.

How can you have him above Larry Holmes?

Both single shot punches also and he was prime. I'd argue WK wasn't yet prime when Sanders did him and he got up from the first brutal knockdown that was a huge left and headbutt. Lewis was in no shape to continue after the one right hand from McCall and was ko'd proper by Rahman.

Lennox Claudius Lewis was the best HW champ since Ali. He SHOULD have retired undefeated it was totally his fault he didn't. He took both McCall & Rahman lightly. If you look at NcCal when he threw the punch that KO';d Lennox Olivers eyes were CLOSED !!! As for Rahman Lennox was filming OCEANS !! & was out partying with Clooney & Pitt instead of training & was late getting to Africa didn't have time to acclimatize. Made Hasim pay dearly in the rematcg didn't he ??? lol

Yeah. I tend to believe he's usually rated just about right. Those having him in the top 3 tend to overrate him a bit, and those having him outside the top 10 tend to underrate him, but most reasonable observers seem to have him somewhere in the range that seems proper to me.

    Thanks CJ.

And for what it's worth, I can definitely see a case for Lennox being at the top of that list. And I too would love to have seen Lennox vs Larry in their primes. It would have been a real treat.

Me, I would switch Lewis and Holyfield, and Tyson and Wlad, so my list would look like this:

    1. Holmes
    2. Holyfield
    3. Tyson
    4. Lewis
    5. Wlad Klitschko
    6. Bowe
    7. Vitali Klitscko
