No way is Lennox punch drunk - he's the same as he always was.

Muhammed Ali, Frazier, Bowe..................these are guys who showed a marked depreciation in speech - punch drunk all the way. But not Lennox.

not really, but i do laugh at his changes in accent. he goes from north american to that stupid fake jamaican accent he puts on, then he'll go to east london black guy mode.

To be honest Bowe sounds a lot worse than in some other videos. Perhaps he was actually drunk.

Lennox never had the greatest vocabulary to begin with. He's far from punch-drunk. I always wondered how Merchant would feel when he heard guys like Lennox and Manny Steward making grammar mistakes.

I will say this though...there's something pleasant in Lennox's style. He really comes across as being a nice guy so I like having him on the HBO team.

He's not punchy he's just a bad commentator, never has anything relevant to say, other than "definitely."

Yeah and Vitali enjoyed a tremendous post-Lewis career himself. When you have the type of accolades of a Lennox Lewis you can retire whenever u want. Lewis never appeared to be the type to care that much about the sport anyway so I'm willing to bet he's the one who made peace with it while Vitali still has that empty feeling inside. He's the one who let a once in a lifetime opportunity slip away that night and he's gotta live with it and so do u.

I don't think he's punch drunk, I think he's just very nervous speaking in public. I think I'd be the same to be honest, stuttering occasionally, changing minds about what to say mid-sentence. He's an introverted person, the shy retiring type, everybody knows this. It's not really a good career for him, he's not suited to it the way a Tyson or a Jens would be/is

I'm sure Lennox is just besides himself that Anton from ESB doesn't have much respect for him anymore. You must really think the world revolves around u. Who's to say that had Lewis gave him a rematch Vitali wouldn't have pulled out of it 5 different times with injuries? Nobody cares about what u say and if u check the poll on this board (bias or not) most people think Lewis would have went on to knock Vitali out and I agree cuz it was Vitali holding onto Lewis at the end of the 6th. Lewis was huffing and puffing but he was smiling as well and he had already gotten through the toughest part of the fight (the 2nd round). IT WOULD HAVE BEEN OVAH!
