Since he beat the greatest, is Neon Leon the greatest of all time? He clearly lost his drive after beating Ali, I think he could have been the greatest. Discuss.
By klitschko logic Frank Bruno is one of the greatest. So is michael moorer. After all, against a near prime in shape Lennox Lewis, Bruno was up 4 points after 6 rds The bum Klitsko in his prime vs a 38 yr old lennox in his worst shape, shot, past prime, 2 weeks notice, was only up by 2 Pts before getting stopped. Bruno was winning even more easily than klitschko but against a near prime Lennoz Mike Moore was dominating all 9 rd vs an old an past prime Foreman before getting KOd. Therefore since the bum klitschko is great for barely winning by 2 Pts for 6 rds and getting stopped, Michael Moorer is even greater I do not believe this nonsense, but that is the logic dumb klitschko fans who think they are in the top 20 HWs believe.
Greatest ****ing thread ever. Spinks beat a brain dead Ali and then lost to him in the rematch. After that he was obliterated in a round. So yes, he is the greatest.
The overall point you're making is correct It's stupid to suggest someone is the best boxer of all time because they beat someone who was considered the greatest - especially when they beat them past their prime (if that was the case Danny Williams would be a heavyweight great for beating Tyson etc) Where you're arguement is a bit silly however is when you list fighters who LOST the fights you mention - so what if they won rounds? it's meaningless when each of the fighters you listed got knocked out and lost But yea boxing mathematics is foolishness - you can't isolate an indivdual fight and use it as evidence for the greatness of someone's legacy, too many variables to consider (off night, stylistic match up, stage of career whatever) you must look at a boxers entire career as a body of work and compare it to others to determine who was the best ever (and even then it's likely to be a matter of opinion)
