Aye it is, no boxing that matters on BT now until the end of May! I guess they don't give a **** any more.
Should happen in the summer. Apparently Hamzah Sheeraz will headline in Telford so Davies Cunningham could be chief support ? Remember we were told that Frank Warren is the number 1 promoter in the UK at the end of last year. @Trafford @Puroresu_Fan They have a York Hall show on May 12 which has a couple of decent domestic fights to be fair. Usyk Dubois should happen in July and so will Fury Ruiz. It will be interesting to see if Usyk Dubois ends up on PPV. Frank Warren is planning to make a big domestic fight between Denzel Bentley and Hamzah Sheeraz at the end of the year. I also think Joyce will end up rematching Zhang. Yarde also needs to get back out. There was talk of Joe Smith Jr. Let's see who the opponent is.
So this is basically all this weekend, Komgrich Nantapech vs Wisaksil Wangek (good luck tracking that one down) and William Zepeda Segura vs Jaime Arboleda in the middle of the ****ing night.
Such a **** show. I get there’s not many headliners etc at Queensbury and I get you are just doing random Telford shows to pick up the tv money. byt could they not get creative and do something like Adeleye vs Wach or ismay given they don’t have to cut weight. Tommy fletcher etc haven’t been out since Jan and there’s nothing really happening. Seems they are focussing all energy on the next big card for Fury in July and sod the rest. would be good if McCann and Sheerqz moved to a promoter with some ambition to promote them
MR FCs tickling each other’s balls again. George Warren said he is working on the schedule with BT/TNT to coincide with the new channel launch. Davies-Cunningham is in Telford on 24/6 is the headliner and it’s a cracking fight. I would imagine they will put Nathaniel Collins on this to make his QP debut. This is just a guess but Sheeraz who has been injured will probably fight on the Fury card. Usk-Dubois will probably go off late August as it’s no doubt definitely going to be PPV, so they need a gap from Fury.
I quite enjoyed their last show from Telford. I thought the Heaney vs Flatley and Baluta vs Cain fights were really entertaining. I’ve always struggled to get in to women’s fights but I even enjoyed the Chapman fight. I had a bet on Chapman KO, so I think that helped because I was urging her on to knock out her opponent.
The Rungvisai fight was postponed for May after SSR got sick. The Zepeda vs Arboleda and the whole Golden Boy show is the only noble card this week.
