I think that Geln Johnson went on to prove himself as a great but he just got robbed because he was nothing in his earlier career when he was improving his expierence instead of showing his potential. Is Librado Andrade in the same boat Glen was I wonder as the Newcastle snow hits my neck and I sit above a PS2 on a wooden chair. Remember I am pissed.
No. Andrade has a great chin and great stamina, but Glen Johnson has more natural talent in his left pinky than Andrade has in his entire body.
It's too soon to say for sure, but I voted for yes because they've had very similar careers up to this point. Glen Johnson was essentially a gatekeeper/borderline world class guy for most of his career, but he lost every time he stepped up for the majority of it- most of them were clean losses, but he always kept coming forward and throwing, so he usually accounted himself well. Andrade has alot of parallels- great chin, won't stop coming forward, will travel anywhere for a fight, but ultimately, is a pretty one-dimensional guy who still needs to add wrinkles to his game to win and hold onto a belt for any length of time and will in all likelihood not be the type of guy to hold on to a belt for more than a defense or two. Great fighters should dismantle them, and have - Hopkins in Johnson's case, and Kessler for Andrade. Will he ultimately accomplish what Glen Johnson has? It's yet to be seen because Johnson's had wonderful longevity, but I see more similarities than differences at this stage in their respective careers.
