Liston's top 5 in my opinion. I think on his best day he could have beaten almost anyone. The Ali fights are a stigma, but they both were tainted.
OF course that no, he did nothing in his carreer, overrated like hell, tell me what great fighters would Not have beaten TO patterson and Williams and tell me what great fighter would have lost TO marty Marshall or would get knocked out Cold BY the bum leotis martin?
You cant prove it so WE just can talk about WE SAW OF him, he did beat nobody, he is not in the top 20
Given that the Ali fights were tainted, but Sonny had mafia handlers for essentially his entire career, does this mean we should also look at some of his wins with the same critical eye? Putting myself in the mafia's shoes, it makes a heck of a lot more sense (and cents) to get your mitts on a fighter who legitimately hits hard so when you bet on and fix a fight to end in a certain round, it looks much more legitimate. Just playing devil's advocate here. When you're involved with those types of people early on, why would they wait until the very end to intervene in your career?
Not in order, i put all these guys over him. Ali, Louis, frazier , foreman, tyson, evander, lewis, Vitali, wladimir, Holmes , marciano, Charles, walcott, schmeling, Johnson, dempsey, tunney, langford , sulivan, jefries
I think you would have to put him inside the top 10 at heavyweight, but where exactly is open to considerable interpretation.
langford was not just a much better fighter at hw but pfp was miles above liston, and please, stop saying "us". like i told you, nobody support your stupid opinion.
