Is Lomachenko’s Ascension to GOAT the Fastest in History???

Depends, he has done nothing to become a ATG so far. Some world class wins but other than that nothing much at all.

It's still possible that he becomes an ATG, but he has a long way to go.

 

He needs a opponent to get him there and I don't think its happening in the lower weight classes.

Unify.
Become undisputed.
Defenses against Portman and Cherry.

 

I don't consider him the GOAT however I tell people to watch him and at the end of the day he may end up being the GOAT. Ironically sometimes a GOAT needs that opponent perhaps in a trilogy where they even lose a fight i.e. Ali/Fraser. Will he ever face that adversity or just win too easily. Good to see he got up quick after his knockdown. I always felt he was vulnerable coming in and out as he does like Pacman and can get caught.

 

He's fast approaching the greatest active fighter, not GOAT. We'd have to redefine GOAT from what a fighter has done from the beginning of career to end of career...

to defining it as 'greatest to do something in the first stages of their career.'

 

Him fighting at Welterweight is like the equivalent of little Sergiy Derevyanchenko fighting at Cruiserweight!

Greater skills than Pac? That's debatable. He certainly doesn't compare when it comes to speed and power. He's great, but some of this talk is getting out of hand.
