I don't rate the Rigo win because of the size difference, so no.

Seriously?? Salido was way past prime had been in tons of wars and still managed to beat Loma pop his cherry, I don't blame him for not wanting a rematch he was done already.

Mali fought and beat Liston twice, frazier twice, Norton twice, and then toppled George foreman as well….
Scrubchenko got beat up by a part time taxi cab driver, and then got punked and embarrassed by a 23 year kid. There’s a dif: one deserves to be listed as and ATG, and the other wasted his prime years in the amateurs

Best wins are Gary Russell and a 40 year old bantam weight

    Lost to journeyman Salido

Not an ATG and unless he avenges the loss to Lopez and beats 1 or 2 other names he never will be

This is funny confirmation about professional boxing quality in the US if cab driver might be a contender for professional boxing title.
Sorry, Salido is not and never in his life was close to top 8 euro boxing level boxer, ate this.
Bumland USA USA USA rullz, pride rullz:D
Interestenigly how long Salido might last vs Linares for example? 1 minute? :ibutt:D

Well, in EE some ams are more wealthy than average US born pro boxer ranked in middle of pro rankings.
Premial payments for gold medals are usually higher than any US journeyman ever had get, unless he was not ranked enough highly to be used for voluntary title defense fight.
+ paid off all training expenses, including sparring and camps.

I don't begrudge him it either, I don't really care. It's a very good win for Salido, so he might as well let that victory rest on his resume with no fallback. I simply stated that it was Salido who priced himself out of the fight, since you said the opposite was true when it wasn't.

Salido should have been DQ’d or had multiple point docked.

I don't think he has the longevity and enough marquee names to make him an ATG.

He’s set 2 massive records and tied 1

He still has a few years to add onto his legacy

Ability wise absolutely. His resume isn't ATG level but it's still good and really underrated. In order from best to worst IMO

    Gary Russell Jr
    Walters
    Linares
    Campbell
    Rigo
    Pedraza
    Sosa
    Martinez
    Nakatani

EVEN if he Rematch Lopez and win, beat Haney, go down to 130 and beat up Valdez, Shakur, Than TKO Tank, some of the haters still would not give him credit.

17 fights really? and you talking atg. No question he has the skills, but he better starting fighting every other month at his age that resume needs work.

He’s beaten 8 people who have held titles and fought 10 overall.

    Casual.
