He's a HoF right now, but not an ATG imo.

Yeah Id say HOF but not quite ATG. Lopez would put his pretty close and he easilybhas the fights there to make him an ATG - Berchelt, Valdez, Davis, Haney, Garcia, Santa Cruz, Frampton, Herron etc should be abl to get enough from tht crop to make it.

These types of things are always better to discuss after a guy retires. Loma is special but I’d like to see him beat a few more guys at LW, move down to 130 and unify the belts.

With politics it’s hard for modern boxers to always get the best opponents. Loma has done it as effectively as possible but he needs more time before he’s in the ATG conversation. I give him props for stepping up and fighting the best. He didn’t step up in weight and fight the weakest guy, faded champ, or use politics to get a belt, and he’s defended the belt against top challengers. I wish Canelo would have done the same.

I wish Canelo would do it right now at MW. Unify the belts and defend them as the champ. No hopping around challenging guys at higher weights and secretly implementing weight restrictions or rehydration clauses, hyping bad fights to get a payday. I understand why fighters do it but it’s not good for legacy.

These discussions are pointless imo when a fighters active

Once the gloves have been hung up, sit back and access it

Each to their own i suppose

    Easily

    At 125, 4-1 title record, 3 defenses
    At 130, 5-0 title record, 4 defenses
    At 135, 4-0 title record, 3 defenses

    All this is 15 fights

He gets hated on by clowns and casuals

    I think there’s a few at 130 who beat him H2H, and a lot at 135

    Career suicide if he had fought Pac. Pac would destroy and retire him. That's 135, 136, 137, 138, 140, 141, 142, 147.

He is for sure HOF worthy. Became a champion in just a few fights, great championship record. I just don't consider him an ATG at the moment. I think part of becoming an ATG you have to take on other threats and challenges. So far Loma has taken on some threats, but nobody too noteworthy.
