Is Lomachenko more skilled, talented, athletic and complete than Roberto Duran was?

not right now but if he faces enough quality competition he will be one of the ATG's. That is the hardest part since ducking is often seen as "smart business decision" these days. !30 is pretty stacked with talent right now so his chances are better than usual. He is not there yet but has a lot of potential. He himself even said he needs more fights.

    Duran whooped Leonard in Montreal

Leonard clowned an admittedly out of shape Duran in no mas

The 3rd fight isnt even worth mentioning.

Too early to tell, their styles make it difficult to compare in the long run too. They'll fair different against similar opposition due to their styles. This is why certain guys get "hate", people jump the gun and start comparing them to ATG before they have even proved it. Loma is extremely talented, no doubt, but hasn't done what other greats have done yet; left his comfort zone.
    Be honest, you're just baiting?

Lol your ducking my question. I wonder why.

Floyd probably loses. Either you like Floyd or you're baiting. Which is it?

Duran would stop Floyd simple as that, and no Fluid Jr. biggest cheat in boxing.

So why bring up Floyd in a thread about Loma and Duran? :think

Because OP is asking if Loma is better than Duran, well forget Loma, Duran is better than Floyd imo, so that answers the question if Loma is better than Duran or not.
I heard you're the best MC in texas is that true alex? :smoke

Absolutely. Lomachenko has better footwork, better athleticism.
Duran is much better on the inside, Lomachenko better on the outside.

They both have great, great defence. I believe Lomachenko will prove himself to be on the same league as the very best ever - Duran, Leonard, Napoles, Hearns, Ali, Robinson etc. but he'll need to prove he can stand at the heart of battle in the pro ranks against great fighters first. Right now he hasn't done that, so the favourite is undoubtedly Duran.

That's true. Lomachenko doesn't have a glass jaw and he would never get knocked down TWICE in one fight against a bum like Amagasa.

I'm not sure about the athleticism part :think Duran could do what he did partly due to being freakily athletic. Far more impressive than anything shown by Loma imo.
