Look, a little bit probably for what he's done (not what he's done in a given timeframe, but what he's done) but really, he looks absolutely ridiculous. Ridiculously good. I mean he blows the eye test up. He blows up your eyes. You just end up looking at him all goofy. I haven't really seen a fighter like that since Jones. So, you have to be careful (lots of guys got freaky for Broner) but I understand any overrating he has undergone.
No underestimated I agree the hasn't the resume yet but he's the best active fighter in sport atm he's very very special.
By some...but he’s a special talent. He’s proven that much in the amateurs and now as a pro although he’s still got a lot left to prove as his career progresses. Considering what he’s been able to accomplish thus far, I think it deserves a lot of respect. He’s not super man or unbeatable. No one is, but he’s going to be a tough test for anyone in or around his weight class for years to come
Not really. I'm not a huge fan of Loma, but he's faced some good opposition and beat them quite soundly. Very impressive wins. Anyone saying he’s TBE is full of it though. And unfortunately, he doesn't have the years left to approach Mayweather's accomplishments.
Time will tell. For the last few years we've been hearing that Floyd Mayweather is the greatest boxer ever. Before that it was Roy Jones Jr. I think people always tend to get a little over excited about whatever boxer is hot at the moment and lose perspective.
Yes. His resume is as shallow as a puddle... plus there's a loss. I think he has talent, but he has to prove himself to be great first. As of today, far too many people have crowned him as great. Hell, the man is in the P4P rankings over fighters who've proven their melee.
