Late start for sure so he will have to be more active than Mayweather was which shouldn't be too hard. Floyd retired a few times and was only fighting once a year. Easier said than done if he isn't a boxer who has the ability to pull in the kind of audience Floyd and PAC were able to do.
This twit is the most profoundly stupid and puerile poster on the forum. This must annoy Dino, who held that distinction alone till Herol showed him that when it came to rank stupidity and childishness, he could outdo anybody on the forum.
Also think Lomo fan boys are using fuzzy logic. You say who did Floyd fight in his second pro fight. How many fights did it take for Floyd to win a title etc. Well, give Loma, the same amount of amateur fights as Floyd and have him start his career at the same age, and I'd guarantee Loma wouldn't come near Floyd in terms of accomplishments. He wouldn't be as good. That being said, everybody matures, and comes about in their own circumstance. Lomachenko is making the best out of his circumstance, as did Floyd.
Lomachenko is special, a rare breed of fighter you may consider a game changer. Arguably the best amateur ever and has one of the best starts to a pro career ever, by all means he is not overrated. If his career was to finish today though.... He would be forgotten about in a few years.... Certainly as a professional anyway. At his age he will need some signature wins fast, Rigo will be questionable as he is coming up in weight and maybe 40 years old. Has Loma beat reigning champs in their prime? Overcame adversity? Shown heart? Cleared out divisions? He still has a lot to prove, but no way is he overrated.
We simply don't know yet. He looked special against good to very good competition. Rigo is better than anybody he's fought so far skillwise. We find out just how good he is Dec 9th.
Lomachenko has fought better opponents that Rigo, Gary Russell is a very skilled boxer and he beat him easily, not to mention Walters, etc. I have seen rigo get knocked down by lesser fighters................
Not for much longer. He's going to lose to someone who lost to a 'journeyman', that'll be embarrassing huh?
