Spadafora was a southpaw who had some of the same moves as Lomachenko. He wasn't better than Lomachenko.

He's actually a great technical boxer who doesn't rely only on his athletic gifts. Roy had and still has horrible ring intelligence.

I don't think ANYONE with that amateur background who was in 73 professional fights could have horrible ring IQ. lol Horrible Ring IQ would be someone like Early 2000s HW Michael Grant.

Sure they can. When their game relied so heavily on their athleticism, he obviously neglected many things that most wouldn't have been able to. Glaring holes were exposed as he slowed down. Someone like Hopkins has a true boxing brain despite being nowhere near as athletically gifted.

He's like a hybrid between Spadafora and Calzaghe. I'm not making this a race thing.

Loma and rjj are further apart in their talents than any top past fighter you could had picked. Loma is text book, rjj was a gifted athlete that was pushed into fighting.

    Two totally different talents, opposites

They both are freakishly fast and skilled. Roy had more power but the weight divisions are so far apart it really is not fair to try to compare Loma's power with Roy's. Roy is just a bigger, more powerful guy.

Is Lomo a roid cheat like Roy? If he is not then it's wrong to even compare the two.

Roy was on a different level and that's just a fact.
