    dear esb,

i was having this conversation with eze, the resident floydette here when he insisted that PBF has never fought above 149-150 lbs in his entire career.

when I called him out to prove it vs. dlh, the weigh-in showed PBF was 150 and he does not show proof of his actual fight night weight when the tale of the tape for HBO showed him 154 lbs. i am fairly used to eze outlandish claims like

    1. pac weighs the same as pbf.
    2. pbf is slightly bigger than pac.

but i wanted to make a poll on his latest claim that

PBF weighed in at 150 vs dlh.

"He could of lost some weight. Not uncommon."

so people, is it "not uncommon" for PBF to lose weight after the weigh-in?

in my 25 years of being a boxing fan, I have never heard of fighter losing more weight after the weigh in.

Your thoughts? or simply eze is crazy.

i've always been skeptical of floyd's weight especially in the hatton fight, he refused to get on the scale....personally i think he was over 150 in that fight....

if floyd weighs 150 in the oscar fight, he must have hydrated at least 2 or 3 pounds or probably more at fight night. i think some floyd fans gives this excuse that floyd is a small welter, to reason why floyd had not fought any top welter since baldomir. ****, floyd is a welter. if he is not, he should be fighting jmm at 135 for his title or at most at 140.

precisely. in the HBO tale of the tape, it indicated that PBF was 154. he weighed in at 150. consistent with the baldo fight wherein he gained 3 rounds after the weighin. gaining 4 pounds after the weighin vs dlh is highly plausible.

but losting weight after the weigh-in?:rofl eze was trying show that pbf and JMM were virtually the same weight during fight night which is lots of bull.

Didnt Floyd weigh in at 150 for DLH and on fight night he was 148?

I know most times he weighed the same or just a pound or 2 over.
