Wars with Garcia, Molina and then Provodnikov definately taken their toll on Lucas. Just like Paul williams had an iron chin at one point taking margarito punches.... he was damaged and martinez showed how badly in their second meeting.

Lucas is a broken machine.... he needs a long vacation and a change of trainer.... just like Maidana rebuilt himself after some losses.... Matthysse would benefit greatly by getting trained in the US.

He didn't have the fire in his belly in this fight and he seems completely broken and weak. The wars have caught up with him, even Garcia should have several losses on his record since Matthysse fight.

They both damaged each other.... Matthysse's decline has been more rapid because he's gone in with big punchers in almost every fight since then.... and some of them monsters like Provodnikov.
