Bute cant fight anyone in the super 6 there tied up fighting eachother. Eventually he will fight the winner and more than likely win. Bute was never invited to the super six he's beating who he can in the mean time, your acting like he can pick and choose everyone he want's to fight, he can't if fighters could do that Juanma vs Caballero and Darchinyan vs Donaire II would of happened long ago. Out of curiosity do you think anyone other than Ward and maybe Abraham stand a chance in hell of beating Bute? I know he's the wrong skin color for you but be honest.

Bute always said he's prepared to fight anyone, anywere in the SMD. I can't say this about Ward to.

Bute is not from Quebec. Or Canada. Also you can't count, but that's a minor quibble.

Don't understand the hate for Bute. Fine if you don't feel he has done enough to be considered the top guy, but putting him any lower than 2 is ridiculous.

He's got good all around skill and is exciting to watch. What's not to like??

You should make this a sticky so that we never have to answer the same boring questions or assertions again :

1- Bute EASILY won at least 10 of the 11 first rounds in the Bute-Andrade I fight and he was DEAD TIRED in the 12th, needing to go toe to toe because he had no more legs. That happened because the fight should have been postponed. He managed to convince his team that he'd take care of Andrade, even suffering from SERIOUS ANEMIA, with a very low count of red cells in his blood !! He didn't want to cancel that fight for the 15 000 attending it. At no point in that 12th round did Andrade stagger Bute or hurt him. Bute was just a dead man walking and a gush of wind would have had more success to put him down prior to when Andrade did...

2- You can make a case for the referee stopping the fight in the last 30 seconds of the fight, before Bute went down, because he was just tossed around like a little doll, not able to defend himself. Once he went down, no matter how ******ed the referee looked to you, the FACT still is that Bute was up before 10 seconds with only 4 seconds left on the time clock when he fell, and per the IBF rules, that's all he needed to do to secure a W at that point.

3- Ken Hershman (SHOWTIME boss) has now openly admitted that he never had any plans of inviting Lucian Bute prior to the Super 6. You can find his very words on the web if you wish to validate !! Therefore you can't blame Bute for not being able yet to fight the guys in the S6. They are now repairing their mistake and will give him a chance as soon as guys are available.

4- Bute would LOVE to fight in the US but like for why Ward practically only fights in Oakland, the economics dictate the location. That's the same reason why Dawson & now Hopkins come to Canada to fight...with AMERICAN REFEREES & 2 out of 3 AMERICAN JUDGES BY THE WAY !! The world doesn't just evolve around the US anymore...anyways.

5- Bute ain't the best at the weight because he hasn't proven it yet. He's high ranked because he's a very talented, undefeated champ. His resume is decent (beating 2 top 10s in Bika & Andrade) considering the present circumstances.

TO THE OP : Bute fighting the 2 young prospects at the end of your 1st post, would make Bute look really bad instead of helping his credibility with fans...Those are the kind of fights that we don't want to see anymore !!!

 If Froch somehow wins this though...not sure he'll dig Michelle Obama that much, considering he's got much better at home !

I know the sport sunshine and I know when a man gets knocked out but still gets the decision.

Berrio has a higher knockout rate but has fought at a lower level than Andrade.

Bika is physically strong , but has just over 50% knockout rate.

Andrade is around 75% knockouts at a pretty good level.

Would you like me to educate you further?

I can pick you off all night long.

All good and honest points, Bute hasn't fought anyone solid enough to warrant him a top spot yet, he can make a name for himself by fighting the very best, untill that he's out of the top4.

    1. Ward
    2. Kessler
    3. Froch
    4. Dirrell

    Ray,

Andrade never hurt Bute at all...and that's what you were referring to in your 1st post..

He didn't get knocked out though.

You're not a MichiganWarrior alias are you and going to tell me that 'knocked out' means going down and getting up eight seconds later?

No I'm not joking Ray. Bute was dead tired but never staggered at any time, therefore Andrade's punches were not the reason why he suffered so much in the 12th round.

Read my long previous post in this thread and you'll get all the info you need !! :thumbsup
